We’re hiring a Merchandise Coordinator to join our Merchandising team. You will work directly with the Head of Merchandising to create an exciting and timely product assortment for our unique audience. You will support the overall execution of all product categories at Short Story, ensure data accuracy, and manage samples. You must have a passion for fashion, be analytically minded, and possess a stellar work ethic.What You’ll Do:Work with Head of Merchandising to determine the overall mix of product for each category.Assist in the development of the product assortment and key item positioning.Ensure data-entry integrity and maintain product integrity in product management systems.Maintain all purchase orders and records with meticulous attention to detail.Communicate with vendors to ensure timely product development.Review and analyze product information data from vendors.Manage samples organization.Create & manage photo catalog and photo quality in management system.Perform in-season updates to product information in multiple databases.Plan and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.Conduct seasonal projects for the merchandising team.Complete administrative work for the merchandising team as needed.Who You Are:Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field.2 years retail buying experience.Ability to work on cross-functional teams.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Strong analytical ability and retail acumen.Proficiency in Excel.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Location:
