This is the foundation of success for all employees at Meazure Learning.The Role:The Senior Financial Analyst is a member of the Finance Team with responsibility for providing operational and financial analysis to the Meazure Learning Board and Senior Leadership Teams. The Senior Financial Analyst will prepare financial reporting and forecasting data to analyze key business trends and report on KPIs that drive financial results.The Responsibilities:Supply critical components to monthly and quarterly financial and KPI reporting requirementsAssist in the development of financial data collection and measurement toolsDevelop and prepare monthly, quarterly financial and operational reporting.Use data and analysis to develop and maintain short and long-range 3-statement financial modelsWork cross-functionally with department leaders in managing their expense budgets, including monthly actual vs budget analysis, headcount reporting and annual budgeting.Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and insights to aid in developing new forecasting models and improve existing modelsDefine forecast KPIs, track performance, and develop plans to forecast and continually improve performanceEvaluate trends in data and tell a storyDocument and communicate insights to stakeholders up to and including the executive levelProactively review and provide data analysis and financial impact assessments to support Meazure Learning operationsPerform ad-hoc reporting analysis on critical business issuesOther relevant projects as assignedThe Desired Attributes:BA in Finance; MBA strongly preferred5 - 7 years progressive finance experience required with a preference with some investment banking and/or consultingStrong 3-statement financial modeling skills requiredRobust (5+ years) Excel experience required; Tableau/PowerBI/SQL (or other data visualization tools) preferredPrevious Accounting a plusPrevious M&A experience a plusExperience operating or familiar with a leveraged environment.Experience working with an ERP a plusPassion for and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage competing prioritiesSelf-starter who can move forward in the face of ambiguity and can help drive to clarity and impact in projectsDriven to not only solve problems but to collaborate with, contribute to, and learn from others, both inside our team and with our stakeholdersExperience formulating reports with data from multiple sources and operational systemsAbility to work independently and produce results with own time managementRemote/Hybrid position reporting to the DC OfficeThe Benefits:Competitive SalaryExceptional Benefits:401(k) plan with company matching & immediate vesting schedule (100% of the 1st 3% and 50% of the next 2%)BCBS Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance with generous employer funding for employees and dependentsGenerous flexible time off approachProfessional developmentRemote and hybrid first organizationGreat working environment with a team of exceptional peopleLearn more at www.meazurelearning.com
