Some remote work is available, but the job requires the candidate to be in the Fairfax office a minimum of 2 – 3 days per week.Location:

Fairfax, VirginiaWhat You'll Be Doing:Perform financial analysis and project control in support of ongoing program management.Support the monthly business rhythms of both the program and finance organizations.Conduct complex financial analysis (variance analysis, risk analysis, profit/loss analysis, etc.).Assist with the processing and maintenance of AP functions related to Vaxcom subcontractors and vendors.Assist with the processing and collection of monthly client invoicing.Responsible for monthly accruals.Liaison between operations and other administrative support organizations on financial issues. Interfaces with subcontractors, vendors, and customers and performs extensive investigations as required.Reports, analyzes, and interprets financial and operating data from various sources to include: ad hoc reports, General Ledger Reports, and P&L Statements.Interfaces with top management and Finance Director, responding to their requests for financial data.What Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline, plus min 2 years of related experience.Experience using Deltek Costpoint and Deltek Time and Expense.Must have experience performing program control & financial analysis support.Experienced in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Must have advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and ability to work on multiple items at once.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:Experience supporting senior level executives on financial performance of the Business Unit.Ability to read contracts to ensure invoices are created and follow the Customer/DCAA/FAR requirements.Monitor project funding and proactively work with PM and necessary corporate departments.Experience with Revenue recognition and analysis and the monthly close cycle.Experience preparing proposals, ROMs, and/or engineering change proposals (ECPs).Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and tracking multiple projects/budgets.Can work independently and with short/tight deadlines.Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
