Property Accountant - $85k/year (HYBRID)The hiring company is a real estate investment sponsor focused on multifamily assets in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. They have 148 total employees and growing. Since its founding in October 2014, JSIP has acquired properties in six states, totaling 18 total large assets, over 4,200 units, and $1B in asset value. Currently have 4 properties under development as well so we are growing rapidly.They are looking for a Property Accountant who will have a dynamic set of assets they're responsible for all the reporting & analysis over.Essential Responsibilities

Perform all accounting duties related to a portfolio of properties, both on a cash and accrual basis.Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for properties, including balance sheets, variance analysis, and cash flow analysis for submission by the reporting deadline requirements.Monitor accounts receivable and notify management of collection efforts when necessary.Review and analyze the general ledger and book journal entries as needed.Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration requiredProficient computer and software skills, specifically in Microsoft Office and Yardi (or comparable property management accounting software)2-3 years of Residential property management accounting experience is highly preferredStrong organizational skills with the ability to allocate one's time effectively in a deadline-oriented environment.Sensitivity to confidential matters is required.
