The Hilton Garden Inn, Wooster hotel is located near the College of Wooster and downtown Wooster. The hotel's location offers both relaxation and tranquility with modern entertainment facilities and cultural attractions.Your ResponsibilitiesThe Director of Sales is responsible for directing and coordinating all sales-related activities, including direct sales efforts and marketing, follow-up, and proper sales administration. The Director of Sales is responsible for developing and growing existing accounts and generating new business to ensure that room revenues meet or exceed budget in order to maximize revenues and profits while maintaining guest/client satisfaction.Essential QualificationsEnsures a high level of customer satisfactionAchieves sales goals as outlined by the General Manager / Regional ManagerConducts hotel tours and site inspections for potential customersCompletes weekly sales call reports to be turned in to the GM and Corporate officeMaintains detailed account files and trace systemsResponsible for development and execution of action plan outlining planned sales activitiesResponsible for third party requests such as Hotel Planner and Brand RFP'sUses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to maximize revenueEffectively develops relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer baseBuilds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customersCreates customer correspondence as required (sales agreements, proposals, etc.)Ability to understand, execute, and support brand standardsHighly motivated and a self-starterExcellent written, verbal, and telephone sales skillsBasic software knowledge (Windows, Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.)Strong sales and leadership skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsExceptional attention to detail, deadlines, and persistent follow-up skillsUnderstanding of revenue management and hotel salesAbout Nivea HospitalityNivea Hospitality is a management partner to hotels and resorts, committed to delivering excellence in guest services, employee development, and hotel operations.
