Freebird Stores is looking for a detail-oriented and strategically minded senior financial analyst to join our finance team.Responsibilities
Assist with planning and budgeting processes.Analyze financial statements and reports.Develop models and track KPIs.Prepare projections and perform research and analysis as may be required by leadership.Assist in the monthly close process and serve as a key business partner across the organization.Build and manage financial forecast models.Manage bi-weekly store-level incentive compensation.Analyze compensation-related data including wages and bonuses.Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of opportunity.Understand key business drivers, track KPIs, and review and analyze financial statements and reports.Assist business partners with financial guidance and on ad-hoc requests.Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant regulations.Qualifications
Proven work experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar role.Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas).Basic understanding of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.Hands-on experience with financial reporting and accounting software.Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP).Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
