YesJob Description:Requirements/Business AnalystGDIT is seeking a requirements analyst to elicit, analyze, validate, and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle in support of a federal customer.Duties:Serve as the key interface between the users and the project manager; gather information, document processes, and confirm the final documents with users.Elicit the requirements, in the form of user stories, from various sources, such as stakeholders, users, documents, existing systems, or market research.Analyze the requirements/user stories and ensure that they are clear, consistent, complete, feasible, and testable.Validate the requirements/user stories and ensure that they meet the expectations and needs of the stakeholders and users.Manage the requirements/user stories and ensure that they are aligned with the project scope, objectives, and changes.Communicate the requirements/user stories and ensure that they are understood and agreed by all the project participants.Improve the requirements/user stories and ensure that they are continuously refined and optimized.Ensure user stories have well written descriptions and acceptance criteria and serve as the liaison between the development team and the stakeholders.Formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies.Facilitate meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.Effectively communicate status, next steps, insights, schedules, etc. with cross-functional team members and management.Assist in project management by developing project plans and managing tasks.Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects or tasks.Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering system or workflow functionality and form of desired results.Analyze process and re-engineering, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment.Ensure agreed-upon requirements are reflected as epics and stories in JIRA.Qualifications:Active TS/SCI clearanceBachelor's degreeFour (4) to (6) years of relevant experience.Experience with Microsoft Office suiteExperience with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence in particular)Experience with Agile development practicesExperience developing user requirements for agile development (Epics, User Stories, etc.)Good communication, interpersonal, and analytical skillsProblem-solving, critical thinking, and modeling skillsNegotiation skills, stakeholder management, user involvement skillsGDIT IS YOUR PLACE401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidaysScheduled Weekly Hours:
