You'll be the individual helping us achieve this vision. You will focus on generating new deals and building strong, long-lasting relationships with companies. You'll be tasked with identifying and closing deals across verticals in financial services, utilities, billing, insurance, and more.
Responsibilities
Identify use cases and prospect high growth companies that are ~150 employees and beyondDevelop a book of high potential engaged prospects and maintain a sufficient pipeline to support successful attainment against quotaSuccessfully lead a technical sales motion of guiding engineers, product, and growth team members for the entire life-cycle from prospecting to closeCoordinate cross-functional resources and drive initiatives across Plaid to support a consultative sales motionOwn mastery of Plaid solutions and evangelize for industry success across fintech and other industriesQualifications
3+ years of quota-carrying, technical selling experience in a new-net hunting roleA strong track record of over performance and a hunter mentalityAbility to collaborate internally and exhibit a “win as a team” mentalityExperience in building territory plans and executing to planPassion for working with growth stage private companiesProficiency in technical products and APIsPassion for Plaid’s mission of unlocking financial freedom for everyoneCompensation
Target base salary for this role is between $95,000 and $110,000 per year. Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and skillset, and location. Pay and benefits are subject to change at any time, consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefit plans.
