Job Responsibilities:
Play a key role in designing and building solutions using Ab Initio tool stack.
Understand existing system design and its components and make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
Analyze various data sources, identify trends, and draw conclusions. Collaborate with teams to review the trends, thought process, and conclusions.
Understand complex ETL solutions in place and perform tuning or fixes as required.
Perform deployment of code to QA, UAT, and Production using CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery).
Skills and Experience Required:
7+ years of ETL/BI/DW solution development and implementation experience.
5+ years of hands-on development experience with Ab Initio (GDE 3.1 or higher) and its components strong technical experience in understanding, designing, and implementing Ab Initio jobs.
Solid knowledge of the Ab Initio execution environment (shell scripting, debugging, metadata).
Hands-on development experience using Ab Initio that includes Graphs, Plans, EME, Metadata Hub, or Conduct IT Technology.
3+ years of experience with Teradata and Oracle database systems.
Strong expertise in SQL Concepts, writing complex queries, and query optimization, UNIX shell scripting.
Well versed with agile methodologies.
Knowledge/understanding of the US healthcare domain is preferred.
