Telework must be completed from a pre-designated home-based location within the State of California and employees may be required to report on-site to address business needs. Telework is at the sole discretion of the Court and may be rescinded with 48 hours' notice, based on needs of the Orange County Superior Court.THE POSITION:The Court Technology Services (CTS) department is responsible for providing the court with proactive leadership in implementing and maintaining the court's network infrastructure, core business and departmental applications, as well as ensuring the security of the court's data and processes. CTS works with court leaders, judicial committees, the State Judicial Council Staff, justice agencies, court departments, vendors, and others to ensure the Court is fully supported by the appropriate levels of technology services.The current vacancy is with our Civil and Probate Application Support team. The team works in a fast-paced environment and is responsible for enhancing and supporting the Civil and Probate Case Management System. The mission-critical system has an Oracle database structure of over 1,000 tables across five production and several development environments. The databases collectively contain over 1 terabyte of data. In addition to supporting over 400 active users, the team provides program development and support for over thirty related web-based applications, several data exchanges, approximately 100 transaction reports, and several Windows-based software tools. The technologies used for application development include Java, .Net, Angular, ColdFusion, and Crystal Reports.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER II:REQUIRED EDUCATION AND OR/EXPERIENCE:A high school diploma or GED equivalent

three (3) years full-time (or equivalent) of progressively responsible experience in applications design and development.APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER III:REQUIRED EDUCATION AND OR/EXPERIENCE:A high school diploma or GED equivalent

-AND-

four (4) years full-time (or equivalent) of progressively responsible experience in applications design and development.DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:At least two (2) years of experience with Angular version 6 or higher.Five (5) years of experience with Web technologies such as: MS.NET Core 3.1/6, C#, MVC, WebAPI, Entity Framework, JavaScript, Bootstrap, or CSS.Five (5) years of experience with design and development experience using SQL Server or Oracle database.Experience with cloud development, preferably Azure.Experience with Web services and microservice architecture.Experience with Angular/NativeScript.Experience with OpenID/OAuth2 Security.Experience with Web API/Swagger.Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology.Experience as a technical lead or project manager in medium to large scale development projects.
