Overview
As a
DevSecOps Manager , you will work with our growing DevSecOps practice as a technical program manager delivering features to support cloud and application development. We are looking for candidates with 8-10 years experience with responsibility for leading cross-functional and technical teams to drive projects from conceptual design feasibility through requirements, budget, completed design, implementation, testing, and deployment.Contributions
Responsibilities include:Serves as the technical delivery leader, accountable for completion of team delivery efforts including quality oversight and client acceptance.Fosters and promotes innovative thinking across the client environment.Builds and maintains client relationships, developing a strategic vision for clients and internal teams.Handles challenging client situations and offers technical and business guidance & direction to client executives.Manages staff and monitors performance and training needs to create skills expansion and career advancement opportunity.Establishes development tools and infrastructure for automation.Works with the end customers, stakeholders, and product owners to understand the program objective, needs, and convey those to the team.Automates and improves development, testing, deployment, and release processes.Tests and examines code written by others and analyzes results.Responsible for leading agile ceremonies and advocating best practices.Ensures that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.Identifies technical problems, performing root cause analysis, and developing software updates and ‘fixes’.Works with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.Develops DevSecOps technical strategies, visions and roadmaps.Documents as-is state of the environment, performs a gap analysis, and produces artifacts that articulate options and recommendations.Leverages virtualization and containerization to optimize and modernize software systems.Leads and manages team members.Assists in sales and technical strategy activities beyond their current program.Engineers and implements solutions and provides recommendations for continuous improvement for the services provided.Presents regular status updates and provides cross training to other DevOps team members.Qualifications
Required:Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance.BS Degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field and 2 years related IT experience.Proven experience of leading the deployment of enterprise and custom Software solutions in client environments.Demonstrated ability to influence and consult while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving governance, program/project management, business process and/or technical problems.Proven experience growing and selling while delivering.5 Years of Experience with one or more clouds (i.e. AWS, Azure, or GCP).5 Years of Experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket.5 Years of Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages.5 Years of application DevSecOps Experience with actual/active development experience in an Agile environment.5 Years of Experience implementing infrastructure as code and orchestration.5 Years of Experience building CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Pipelines, CircleCI, TravisCI.3 Years of Experience integrating deployments with industry standard DevSecOps tooling and orchestration.Preferred:MS Degree.Certifications:AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional.Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert.SAFe Scrum Master Certification.Certified Scrum Master.PMP.Experience implementing Automated Testing frameworks including Selenium.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills.Experience with documenting an as-is state of the environment, performing a gap analysis, and producing artifacts that articulate options and recommendations preferred.Experience with scripting in Concourse, Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby.Experience with automation tools, including Pivotal, Chef, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.About
