Sr Financial Analyst Investment StrategyThis Sr Business Analyst opportunity is with BGE's Investment Management (IM) team. The IM team plays a crucial role in the financial execution of the company’s capital portfolio aligned with operational commitments and strategic energy vision. This opportunity will support the company’s current year forecasting processes, the 5-year long-range plan build, the multi-year rate filing process, and various other ad hoc projects that provide actionable data and insight to all levels of leadership.
Responsibilities:
Strong financial acumen with experience in forecasting and budgeting at the macro and micro level. Demonstrated ability to create partnerships across various operational organizations where you are not the SME.Support our Long Range Plan (LRP), Project Authorization, Latest Estimate cycles (LE), and the Multi-Year Plan (MYP).Lead, participate, and facilitate conversations with business partners regarding work plan risks & opportunities (R&Os).Present strategic recommendations to Executive Leadership regarding R/Os and how to mitigate potential impacts to our plan.Develop reporting to communicate to and advise Executive Leadership on portfolio results, trends, and performance by leveraging current and new technology (e.g. PowerBI).Build a link between operational execution and financial results.Think innovatively. Help transform our processes to provide insightful summaries & presentations that will be shared with all levels of the organization and drive strategic decision making.Support ad hoc projects/requests as they happen & they happen often.
