Tipalti is looking to hire a VP of Payments and Compliance Operations within the Operations organization reporting into the Chief Customer & Operations Officer. This role will own all aspects of the Payments, FX, Fraud, Risk Management and KYC operations at Tipalti. This leadership role is a blend of strategy, business development and operations at scale.

In This Role, You Will
Manage Tipalti Payment Operations including SLAs, reconciliation, redundancies and reporting.Bring to market new payment methods, routes and countries in partnership with the product team.Manage strategic partnerships with Tipalti’s bank and network partners including commercial arrangements, pricing, new capabilities, service management etc.Develop and operationalize new payment partnerships as necessary in support of the company strategy and product roadmap.Develop and execute for a fully redundant global payments infrastructure to support Tipalti’s growth and its client’s needs.Design a fraud and risk management strategy to support Tipalti’s global payment volume.Design and implement KYC processes for onboarding customers in a frictionless way ensuring we meet our compliance and regulatory requirements.Lead Global Payments, FIU, Fraud and KYC operations team with a focus on delivering a delightful customer experience.Build, organize and scale the teams in an efficient manner as the company continues to grow and expand rapidly both geographically and its product lines.Identify and implement opportunities for automating operations to drive quality and efficiency.Run business reviews with leaders and key stakeholders related to the payment operations and compliance operations.
About You
Extensive experience managing payment operations at a significant scale.Experience leading and managing global operations teams at scale in the areas of payment operations, risk management, fraud, FX and related areas.Experience establishing and managing strategic partnerships with banks and global payment and card networks.Demonstrated ability to design and deliver strategic programs across the organization.Experience in standardization, leveraging internal/external tools to drive automation.Strong communication, partnership, and stakeholder management skills.Proven track record of delivering solutions while working in partnership with many teams such as implementation, support, technology, compliance and operations.Data driven with strong analytical skills.Project Management and Business Analysis experience.Commercially-focused and entrepreneurial - willingness to roll up sleeves and get creative to find solutions.Motivated self-starter with great interpersonal and communication skills.Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred.
Anticipated base pay rate for this position: 250K-270K USD. Variable pay rate will be paid in addition to base salary noted above.
