SFI is currently looking for a Software Quality Assurance Specialist that will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the software product by developing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, while working with development teams to ensure defects are addressed. This role requires a strong understanding of software development processes and testing methodologies, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities/Job Description:

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software products meet quality standards.

Identify, document, and track software defects and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

Work closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure testing aligns with those requirements.

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.

Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts.

Monitor and report on software quality metrics and recommend process improvements.

Write and implement test cases as part of individual development sprints.

Experience using defect tracking tools (JIRA/Confluence).

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant experience.

3+ years of testing experience, ideally testing web-based applications.

2+ years' experience with test automation (Selenium).

2+ years' experience with API testing (SoapUI, JMeter).

2+ years in a programming or scripting language (JavaScript, Java, Python, PHP, C++).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Certifications:

ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL), ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level (CTAL)

Additional Information:

In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be

US Citizen and/or Current Green Card Holder .

All candidates will be subject to a complete background check to include, but not limited to Criminal History, Education Verification, Professional Certification Verification, Verification of Previous Employment and Credit History.

Public Trust background investigations can take approximately four to eight weeks and requires fingerprinting.

Other Information:

The salary for this position is

$60,000 - $90,000

annually.

This is a full-time W2 position.
