A South Bay health care startup is looking for an M&A Analyst to join their team due to company growth. The M&A Analyst will be responsible for sifting through thousands of lines of data in Excel and heavy valuation modeling. The M&A Analyst must be self-motivated and a self-starter in order to be successful in this role.
What do you need for this M&A Analyst role?
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field3-5 years of finance experience in investment banking, valuations, consulting, corporate development, or aligned fieldVery advanced ExcelHealthcare experience in a multi-location environment will bump your resume to the top
What will you do in this M&A Analyst role?
Create data request list and then do further deep dive on items discoveredAnalyze data provided by targetsFinancial modeling around initial valuationQuality of earnings and waterfall analysisCreate pro formas and analyze cost structures around targetsPresent to investors, board members, and senior leadersDevelop and maintain projectionsLong range planning and build out 3 and 5-year financial modelsPost acquisition benchmarking and analyze business performance and assumptionsForecast funding through liquidity models to project M&A projectsROI, NPV, and IRR analysis from historicals
