Chief, UCSF Division of Hospital Medicine at Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma CenterThe University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Medicine at the Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (ZSFG) seeks an outstanding leader for its Division of Hospital Medicine (DHM). The mission of the Division of Hospital Medicine at ZSFG is to prevent and address health disparities through providing compassionate and evidence-based inpatient care, continuously examining and improving our own practices, and advocating for change to address longstanding biases in health care and society.We seek a Chief who has a demonstrated commitment to education, clinical practice, and research. The successful candidate must have the ability to lead a diverse group using a collaborative approach, demonstrated success in promoting or producing scholarship and funding, and a track record of mentoring young academic clinicians. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional leadership, administrative and organizational skills and have national stature in Hospital Medicine. An understanding of and commitment to the safety net population is also crucial. Board-certification in Internal Medicine is required.Please apply online at
