The Opportunity
As a Senior Software Engineer at Inscribe, you’ll apply your technical knowledge to solve real customer problems. You’ll join the Fraud team working on our core fraud detection logic and building new technical solutions to uncover fraud.
Responsibilities
Build new Fraud features exposed through our API and web app
Collaborate with the Fraud product team
Write well-designed, documented, and testable code
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
Deploy features and updates to production
Listen to the needs of our industry leading fintech customers
Integrate customer feedback into implementations
Suggest and plan features
Tackle security implications during the design and implementation
About You
Have a strong sense of product design, customer empathy and intuition about customer needs
Have 4+ years experience as a Software Engineer
Value a high degree of autonomy and accountability
Are thoughtful about code quality and software architecture
Are familiar with Python and Django or similar programming languages and frameworks
Are familiar with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript MVC frameworks (such as VueJS)
Have experience across the testing pyramid
Nice to Have
Are familiar with Machine Learning and how to expose it as a product
Have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another relevant field
Knowledge of the Fintech industry especially risk teams
A passion for detecting fraud
