The Senior Product Manager leads the effective planning and lifecycle management of all Cubic’s products in the designated region. Product Management responsibilities include a broad and deep understanding of the market, customers, competitors, and all applicable product lines. Works closely with internal and external stakeholders as well as customers, management, vendors, partners, and the industry as a whole. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise limited decision-making authority.Essential Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the Product Management of all Cubic products in the designated region or sub-region.Leads world-class product management discipline and team.Acts as the Product Subject Matter Expert for all regional programs.Accountable for regionalization, localization, product launch, and GTM strategy for the region.Creates, maintains, and owns the product roadmap and customer transition plans for the designated region or sub-region.Collaborates closely with the global product team, market and competitive intelligence resources, marketing communications, and regional management and business development team to drive the regional product strategy.Ensures the interests of the customers and the region are represented in the global product plan.Focuses on on-time execution, meeting customer expectations, and creating superior user experiences.Provides expertise on local regulatory and legal requirements.Drives systemic product issues to resolution to minimize impact and disruption to our customers.Works directly with the Technology team to identify emerging technologies and trends to incorporate into the product roadmap.Works directly with product management during the development of new solutions to ensure requirements are met on schedule and on budget.Liaises between global product management and the region; responsible for ensuring regional stakeholders are interlocked with product development.Represents the region in governance meetings to secure additional funding for roadmap build-out and feature enhancements.Acts as Subject Matter and Industry experts at internal and external forums.Participates in the due diligence exercises relating to partnering and M&A opportunities.Accountable for meeting or exceeding the company’s product reuse target metrics.Creates business cases, roadmaps, and product health updates at product review meetings.Minimum Job RequirementsFour-year college degree, or equivalent, preferably in software, electrical, mechanical engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline.Ten (10)+ years of related experience. Technical, product management, product marketing, or similar capacity preferred.Experience in hardware product management is required.Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups including executives, managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to communicate new ideas/issues requirements or the potential downside of continuing development on any product that might no longer be delivering intended value to customers.Must possess a mixture of technical, business, and interpersonal skills to work closely with internal and external stakeholders as well as customers, management, vendors, partners, and the industry as a whole.Must be very detail-oriented and be able to plan and work flexibly to a deadline.Proficiency with Aha! and Microsoft Office required.Willing and able to travel.Cubic Pay Range

$143,817 – $207,636 + benefits.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.Worker Type
