About The Role
We are looking to hire a cloud engineer, part of our platform team, that will be focused on helping develop core orchestration and workflow capabilities that will be used by our customers and internal product groups to expedite application development. Your passion and meticulous attention to performance, reliability and scalability will be key ingredients to your success here at CrowdStrike. The team has one of the most critical roles to play in ensuring our products are best-in-class in the industry. You will interact with product managers and other engineers in building both internal and external facing services.What You'll Do
Help design, build, and maintain key backend services / orchestration layer of platform that will be used by our customers and internal developersDesign and build highly scalable and resilient distributed systemsWork with industry-leading technologies like Apache Kafka, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Redis and moreWork on cross-team platform-level initiatives and projectsTroubleshoot critical production issues and implement solutionsWhat You'll Need
BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experienceProgramming experience in any one of the programming language – Java, Go or similarFamiliarity with CI/CD and reporting tools - source code control (Git), Jenkins, metrics/log monitoring tools like Grafana, Splunk5+ years of relevant work experience building backend software with SaaS delivery modelHands on experience in building distributed systems, micro services, REST APIsExperience in building streaming platforms at scale (Note: We process over trillion events per day)Developing applications using SQL and No-SQL databasesExperience with commercial clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)Bonus Points
Contributed to the open source community (GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogging)Master’s degree in computer science or related fieldGolang experiencePrior experience with cybersecurityBenefits Of Working At CrowdStrike
