Position Summary

Achieve the long-term strategic and tactical sales and distribution plan for the Monster Brand portfolio in support of the Company’s business objectives.

The Director of Region Accounts will manage a team of Region Account Managers in an assigned territory. The Director will be responsible for achieving planned business results in the respective territory through the development of a highly skilled and competitive sales team.

Essential Job FunctionsManage staff in maximizing the sales and distribution of all company products in the assigned customers through the establishment and appropriate execution of local and national sales programs.Develop and ensure the execution of national and regional account strategies for all company products and achieve sales, profit and market share objectives for all regional accounts and/or programs.Monitor retailer activity to develop the most cost-effective strategies in order to drive volume and profitability through increased penetration and promotion.Develop, manage and/or maximize customer and distributor partnerships to drive improved performance.Develop and use tools, information and feedback in order to establish customer performance goals and results.Conduct business performance reviews with regional customers in order to track, monitor and adjust efforts and produce desired outcomes in all key business segments.Communicate ongoing results and opportunities both internally and to the appropriate distributors/Bottlers.Establish partnerships with our marketing department to ensure the development of required sales tools and programs which fit for regional customers. Ensure team executes on designed programs.Set, communicate and manage performance expectations, monitor and appraise employee job results and performance in order to develop, counsel or provide corrective action. Provide information, educational opportunities and experiential growth opportunities in order to develop staff.Build a diverse organization that reflects the marketplace; inspire team through effective leadership.Ensure the Sales Team understands and adheres to Company standards and operating procedures.

Position RequirementsCurrently a Director or Sales Executive with a minimum of 10 years of experience (preferably in beverages and with the energy category). Preferably 5-7 years of managing people.Experience within the beer and/or soft drink field provides added knowledge and perspective.Successful sales track record; brand and team builder.Has established relationships with key distributors and customers; comfortable making presentations to all levels of decision makers.Demonstrated ability to develop an effective sales and distribution strategy; developed plans to support the strategy; ensured execution of plans.Has worked all channels of trade.Understands, in depth, both methods of distribution – DSD and distributor.Can build an effective partnership with other departments; can provide constructive feedback re: new products, sales tools, promotions, etc.; ensure appropriate execution of marketing programs in the field.Effective leader – has built an experienced sales team.

Pay Range: $127,800 - $150,300
