About The RoleThis Senior Product Manager is responsible for developing and driving key marketing and business objectives for Boston Scientific’s Electrophysiology (EP) Product Portfolio, with a focus on US downstream marketing and commercialization for Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) products. This includes an emphasis on competitive intelligence, market research, and developing and implementing marketing campaign initiatives to drive brand preference among the EP community. This person is an experienced marketer of highly technical and clinical products and demonstrates strength in franchise management, product launches, commercialization, and a high level of business acumen.This is a hybrid position based out of our Arden Hills, MN location.
Your Responsibilities Will IncludeDevelop and implement downstream marketing strategies for Boston Scientific's PFA productsUse classic marketing capabilities to further business objectives, such as market understanding, market segmentation, customer targeting, product positioning and message developmentDevelop product messaging and materials for effective product promotionEvaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to identify new opportunities and drive product differentiationDevelop and maintain a comprehensive competitive intelligence framework to monitor competitors' strategies, products, market activities, and performance in the PFA marketSynthesize competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions, ensuring our products stay ahead of the curve and meet market demands effectivelyStay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements that could impact the competitive landscape, providing timely updates to relevant stakeholdersRepresent the company at conferences, trade shows, and other industry events
Required QualificationsMinimum of a Bachelor's degreeMinimum of 5 years of medical device experienceAnalytical skills and ability to craft business planDownstream marketing experience (i.e. product management, sales engagement and campaign)Experience with determining customer needs within medical device marketsWilling to travel up to 30% (possibly international)
Preferred QualificationsAdvanced degree such as Master’s or MBAElectrophysiology experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated success supporting and/or managing complex projectsDemonstrated success working as an integral cross functional team memberAbility to develop clinical expertise in medical devicesSales experienceDesire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities
