Title: Administrator Premium II - Systems AdministratorDuration: 3 Months Long TermLocation: Washington, DC 20433Hybrid Onsite: 4 Days per week from Day 1Position Overview:
Treasury Systems Administrator will work along with ITS TREASURY support team for supporting the Treasury applications and assisting with configuration and release management, primarily for Numerix OneView application.
Essential Job Functions:
Deploying updates, patches, and hot fixes to Numerix OneView application.Providing application Level 2 and Level 3 support.Creating Unix shell scripts, Python, and Perl scripts.Troubleshooting issues related to batch jobs, and disk space and memory management utilizing Unix/Linux tools.Reviewing application log files to identify and troubleshoot the application related issues.Writing SQL.
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent hands-on experience in Linux operating system.Strong knowledge in writing SQL and MS-SQL Server.Demonstrated experience in Unix shell scripting, Python, crontab management.Exposure to Unix/Linux tools to troubleshoot issues related to batch jobs, and disk space and memory management.Hands-on experience with application Level 2 and Level 3 support.Reviewing application traces and log files to identify and troubleshoot the application related issues.Exposure to deployment activities for applying updates, patches, and hot fixes.Ability to take a high-level objective and deliver results working with HQ staff with minimal supervision.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work well with diverse team members, often in multiple locations.
Desired Skills/Abilities (not required but a plus):
Prior working experience with Numerix OneView.Prior working experience with Murex MX3.
