We are currently looking for a Mobile QA engineer to join our team based out of our office in Montreal, Quebec. Our Mobile QA Engineer will be the first dedicated QA engineer on the team. You will work alongside software engineers, designers, and product managers, to ensure we ship high quality software at a fast pace. You'll be responsible for the QA of our mobile app on iOS and Android that is used to deliver over 500,000 virtual patient visits per year. You’ll also be responsible for our test automation infrastructure and testing best practices.WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Find ways to break software, identify potential bugs, and prevent regressions.Create and execute test plans for existing and new features.Implement automated tests for native iOS/Android mobile apps.Work closely with software engineers to test applications.Maintain and improve our test automation tooling and infrastructure.Maintain test data and test environment.Monitor and improve our change failure rate.Establish QA best practices within the Engineering team.WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
5+ years experience as a QA engineer.Experience developing automation tests for mobile apps.Experience setting up and maintaining testing tooling and infrastructure.In depth knowledge of at least one modern UI testing framework (eg, Maestro, Appium, XCUITest, Espresso).Experience writing integration tests.Good knowledge of QA and testing best practices.Good programming skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.WHAT WILL GIVE YOU AN EDGE:
BS in computer science, math, or similar field.Experience at a fast-growing startup.Prior experience developing mobile or web applications.Good knowledge of computer security.Good product sense.COMPENSATION
In alignment with our values, Circle Medical has transparent salaries based on location (San Francisco, Montreal, or International Remote Contract), output levels, and options to trade cash for stock.
