Seeking BE/BC Geriatric Psychiatrist to join Hospital. This is a physician led, professionally managed organization with more than 750 providers in varying specialties.
Responsibilities:
Provide coverage for the Geriatric Psych units at 2 facilities.7 on/7 off rotation may also be needed to provide adult psych coverage in other units.Call will be required - 1:6 night call coverage.Provide inpatient consult coverage at 1 location.Work with PMHNP’s on staff to assist on the unit and to see adult consults.Collaborate with Social Workers/Therapists onsite.Participate in daily Treatment Team meetings.Supervise RN/LPN/Tech staff.Work with Nurse Manager on both units.Hours/Day: 8-Hour day, can begin at 8am or 9am. 8-5 or 9-6.2nd certs (CON’s) during call: 2nd certs are required for any TN admissions which are involuntary, these are done via laptop or tablet and secure portal.Unit demographics: Gero-psych patients.Main diagnosis: bipolar, schizo affective disorder, secondary detox, depression, insomnia, suicidal ideations.Availability: Immediately.EMR: EPIC.Benefits:
