Responsibilities
Manages Telos ID’s aviation security business development activities, including but not limited to: Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Designated Aviation Channeling (DAC) service, TSA PreCheck Enrollment Service, and TSA Aviation Channeling & Data Management System (ACDMS). Activities include direct involvement and participation in the operational planning, execution, and evaluation of a multi-faceted program/project typically consisting of a set of closely related subprograms or associated activities.Seeks and develops outside funding sources, serves as point of representation and liaison with external constituencies and the aviation industry on future objectives.Capture airport operator and air carrier market (aviation industry) market share specific to the TSA DAC Services, TSA ACDMS Services, and TSA Enrollment Service Providers contracts.Identify and implement short, medium, and long-term business opportunities to capture additional market share and expand customer offerings by leveraging existing Telos Corporation and Telos ID product offerings to other markets.Identify and cultivate long-term teaming relationships with other business enterprises to leverage best practices and solutions further expanding product offerings and increasing market share.Represent Telos ID at aviation industry conferences, technical meetings, and events to enhance market profile, expand the corporate network with the aviation industry, and increase business opportunities.Leverage individual and corporate knowledge, focusing on TSA DAC services, TSA ACDMS services, TSA PreCheck Enrollment Services, channeling, credentialing, integration, access control, and biometrics to inform and support operations and engineering efforts to develop new security solutions for the aviation industry market.Facilitate Telos ID responses to aviation industry RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs specific to TSA DAC services and TSA ACDMS services, and provide day-to-day aviation security operations/policy/regulatory/technical/professional guidance and aviation industry specific information (Subject Matter Expert).Qualifications
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.A Bachelor’s Degree and 15+ years of aviation industry experience is required.The successful candidate should have a solid background in the aviation security industry and experience in operations, policy, and TSA regulatory requirements; business development; and airport security software and solutions.Successful candidate must have good research, writing, and communication skills.Must be able to work as part of a team.The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access classified information, which requires U.S. citizenship.Telos maintains a drug-free workplace and will conduct drug testing on all applicants who have accepted an offer of employment.
