ADI’s Central Artificial Intelligence (AI) team develops next-generation AI technology that transforms our understanding of the physical world. We develop solutions at multiple tech stack layers, from AI-enabled software applications to deeply embedded AI algorithms. Our mission is to build the Intelligent Edge, where AI transforms how we solve challenging problems by combining deep application knowledge, close customer relationships, extraordinary data, advanced circuits, and breakthrough algorithms.Role Responsibilities
Perform requirement analysis and oversee the implementation of architectures of the project scope.Evangelize and drive code quality practices such as code reviews, static analysis, and automated testing; implement software quality improvement initiatives.Disseminate your in-depth knowledge of software development life cycles, software configuration management tools, and software release process.Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members and project peers.Contribute to projects by guiding architectural discussions and providing technical coaching to software engineers.Contribute as a team member to operational, integration, or application architecture requirements, design, implementation, or ongoing operations deliverables.Handle multiple applications and oversee deliverables using agile methodologies by doing sprint planning and execution.Work with multiple stakeholders from different locations.Establish metrics and processes for both monitoring health and allowing for continuous improvements.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Qualifications
3+ years of commercial experience developing enterprise software in one or more high-level, object-oriented languages such as Java, C#, C++, etc.BSc. in Computer Science or equivalent.Experience using and developing RESTful APIs.Experience using and developing Microservices.Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.Comfortable with collaboration, open communication, and reaching across functional borders.Deep understanding of distributed systems and large-scale software architectures.Experience in Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and Spring REST.Experience in Database design and implementation using MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle/MongoDB.Excellent analytical skills.Excellent written and communication skills.Good understanding of testing methodologies like unit testing, functional testing, performance testing, and integration testing.Good understanding of system monitoring, observability, metrics, and logging.Minimum experience of 3 or more full SDLC for web application projects.Familiarity with Agile best practices for the full software development process.Demonstrated extensive experience with task and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).Knowledge of scripting languages like JavaScript, Python.Demonstrated competence in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.Very strong grasp of version control systems (e.g., P4, Git, SVN, Bitbucket, Gitlab).Experience with Static Analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube, Coverity).Experience with Build & dependency management tooling (e.g., Maven, Gradle).Experience working with Cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS is a plus.For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
