candidate to add to their growing team!With a mission to heal, teach, and discover, this renowned academic medical center and community hospital network seeks to deliver what matters most to their patients: personalized, compassionate care; medical discovery and breakthroughs; and high-quality, affordable care close to home.Position Overview:Perform high and moderate complexity testing at a basic level with some supervision.Perform laboratory support functions.Perform various testing in all departments (molecular chemistry, coagulation, hematology, special chemistry, urinalysis, serology, blood banking) following prescribed quality assurance policies and procedures.Perform, evaluate, and document quality control and maintenance checks for all departments, including temperature logs, discarding of old specimens, and rotation of specimen racks for storage.Perform inventories and restock reagents, calibrators, controls, and supplies as needed. Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.Perform equipment and instrumentation maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Comply with all policies, standards, and procedures.Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients.Ability to work independently and within a team environment.High level of attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills.Candidate Profile:Minimum Associate's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or a related science (MLT/MT program graduate preferred)ASCP required after 1 year of hirePrevious experience preferred but new grads who are MLT/MLS certified are welcome to apply.Salary/Benefits/Shift:Salary commensurate with education and experience (depending on experience) + shift differentialFull benefits (401K, Health, Vision, Dental)Shifts:Part-time evenings/nights on a rotating basis with rotating weekends/holidaysEvenings only with rotating weekends/holidaysBonus: $6000; $3000 paid after 90 days and $3000 paid after 1 year.About Us:At Lighthouse Lab Services, we offer solutions to help start, grow, and run clinical laboratories.
