Job Description and ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Vice President Sales and Marketing, the Sales Director is primarily responsible for sales for Duncaster’s planned expansion. The Sales Director will work with the VP to achieve sales goals and manage the pre-sales and sales process from initial inquiry to residency by effective representation, negotiation, and promotion of the community to the prospective resident and influencers. Priority sales are expected to begin in 2023.Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead sales activities from pre-sales through residency.Conduct marketing events to build excitement and generate pre-sales.Clearly and articulately sell Duncaster expansion to prospects even as expansion is still under development and construction.Actively recruit new leads.Clearly and articulately sell Duncaster community and LifeCare features and benefits to prospective residents.Discover prospect needs and establish and maintain client relationships.Develop referral programs and buyer retention activities.Maintain relationships and engagement with depositors through construction phase to minimize attrition.Coordinate and complete all activities and documentation needed for sales.Provide feedback to community leadership regarding information learned through working with new prospects.Lead conversion process to meet financial targets.Negotiate obstacles to find mutually beneficial solutions.Effectively close sales post conversion.Thoroughly track progress and maintain detailed records in CRM.Provide regular analyses and metrics updates to leadership.Collaborate with sales and marketing team.Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree required.Minimum five years of sales experience. Sales experience within a senior living or non-profit is required.Pre-sales, pre-leasing experience, new development or donation request is required.Two years of leadership experience is required.Organized, detail-oriented and able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.Adept at public speaking and presentations.Highly effective in team environment and able to build consensus.Strong creative and problem-solving skills.
