Workday Spend Management provides an end-to-end solution to manage all aspects of the materials management process for goods and supplies used internally. Workday Procurement provides a single system for the procure-to-pay process built for today's global businesses. In this team, you’ll be working with key architects, product managers, and other stakeholders delivering a new generation of on-demand enterprise solutions.About The Role

The Workday Spend Management team aims to provide high business value for our customers by accelerating the delivery of our product features in an agile environment while safeguarding the high quality our customers expect from Workday financial applications.As a Software Application Engineer, you will tackle complex problems in developing and delivering global mission-critical enterprise software. Your primary focus will be to:Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancementsTake initiative and have a passion for user experienceSolve challenging problems related to performance, scalability, and resilienceDesign and develop an OO product in a metadata-driven development environmentWrite and maintain solid, efficient, and maintainable codeWrite reliable unit, integration, and system level testsMentor and learn from other team members through pairing and code reviewsAbout You

We are looking to grow our development team of talented Software Application Developers. The successful candidate will:Basic Qualifications

2+ years of experience developing web applications and/or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products2+ years of experience with object-oriented design principles and languages such as Java, C#, etc.2+ years of experience in software design and analysis for performance and scalability2+ years of experience designing and implementing reliable unit and system testsBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experienceOther Qualifications

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. This role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
