Entry Level Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Analyst/Engineer)
Description:We have been providing our client with qualified consultants with top-notch skills in the Software Quality Assurance field. The ideal candidate must have good written and verbal communication skills; and be able to interface efficiently with all support groups, other QA groups, and development groups in order to get things done independently with minimal oversight. The incumbent must exhibit quick learning abilities by mastering new concepts which may be business, technical, or process-oriented.Responsibilities:
Work with the product development team to create test plansExecute test cases (manual and/or automated) and analyze resultsMonitor application errors and performance monitoringTest application performance with load testing toolsParticipate in and facilitate requirements gathering sessions with end usersElicit and document business and system requirementsDevelop user stories with acceptance criteriaPerform functional testing of the systemQualifications:
0-2 years of experience as a QA engineer/analystMotivation and drive to learn new technologies necessary to perform aspects of this jobStrong organization skillsAnalytical mind and problem-solving aptitude with a keen eye for detailWorks well both individually and on a teamExcellent personal presentation, oral, and written skillsClear communication, writing, and presentation skillsUnderstanding of the basic principles of system analysis and quality assuranceExperience with Web Services/API testing using SOAP UI/PostmanKnowledgeable in Agile, Waterfall, and other Software Development LifecyclesKnowledgeable in database concepts (Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle) and SQL queryingPrepared to learn new technologies like Selenium, SOAP, ReST, SQL, ETL, etcAssociate/Bachelor’s degree or higher in any fieldMotivated, self-starting, and eager to learnThe ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyThe ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervisionGreat interpersonal and communication skillsBenefits:
