Our work depends on a Senior Data Analyst joining our team to develop customer dashboards, perform deep dive analytics, and deliver customer solutions. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will support customers within GDIT to fulfill the customer’s initiatives, as well as leading relevant projects and initiatives to reach customer goals.The TSS Data and Analytics team uses a variety of tools including Azure and Azure DevOps, AWS, Power BI and Tableau. The Power BI dashboards provide program management and IT operations dashboards to customers allowing them to manage risk and provide the essential reporting to their government customers.HOW A DATA ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Conduct market research and define industry best practices for decision-makingCreate, refine, and deliver reports and dashboards for internal or external purposesUtilize Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and/or other business intelligence toolsProvide data analytics and key insightsHighlight and define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure performance across different sectionsCollaborate with a team of developers, analysts, and engineers to determine feature requests, priorities, dashboards, and solutions.Write user stories, acceptance criteria, test plans, and retrospectives to improve Agile development processes.Perform Quality Assurance (QA) testing of new features to ensure that requirements are met, and the resulting user experience works as intended.Participate in and support user acceptance testing and the deployment of the solution to production.Prepare and conduct presentations and training materials.Create and maintain documentation.Collaborate with a team of developers, analysts, and engineers to deliver on-time Agile sprint releases.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Active Secret Clearance (must currently possess a Secret Clearance)Education:

BA/BS (or equivalent years of experience)Required Experience:

3 years of relevant data analytics experienceRequired Residency:

Must be located in Washington DC Metro Area. Role is hybrid with some on site days required. Must have been a resident of the United States for the past three years.Required Technical Skills:

Power BI and related business intelligence tools/practices, Structured Query Language (SQL), data analytics experienceRequired Skills And Abilities:

2 years or more of data analytics experience1+ years of using Power BI/Power Apps and developing Power BI dashboards and related business intelligence tools/practicesExperience with Structured Query Language (SQL)Experience working with customers/large organizationsExperience with Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities at any given time.Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing client needs.Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present to business leaders.Analytical and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of Agile methodologyAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Skills:
