NoGENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONMaintains accounting systems: payroll administration and reconciliation, journal entries, general ledger, etc. Monitors labor expenditure trends and helps ensure company compliance with all Federal, State and Local payroll and labor laws. Develops monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects. Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions. Interprets reports and records for managers.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in accounting or a related field or A.A. with equivalent years of experience.A minimum of 2 or more years of related experience.Working Intermediate level knowledge of Excel.Knowledge of SAP preferred.CPP or FPC credential holders preferred.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProcess, review and reconcile payroll in UKG for approximately 400 employees on a bi-weekly cycle.Review timecards and post daily labor costs to SAP.Journalize general ledger activities.Reconcile monthly bank account(s).Assist with balancing books as required, preparing profit and loss income and balance sheet statements.Respond to and investigate issues related to accounting inquiries from other departments.Support internal auditing activities in terms of providing supporting records and reports.Reconcile monthly and quarterly balance sheet accounts.Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily.
