Your Career

Reporting to the Sr Manager, Finance Systems, this role will provide critical support on Anaplan design, functionality, process, and roadmap from the FP&A perspective. This role requires a keen attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many changing and competing priorities. Collaborating with Finance and IT leaders to create a connective planning solution through Anaplan.

As the FP&A point on the Anaplan system, you will be responsible for managing functional integration, working with Finance to determine use cases, developing business requirements, leading UAT, training, and change management. Also, act as the first line of support for incoming requests and troubleshooting.

In partnership with Palo Alto Networks broader FP&A team, this role will play a key role in developing standardized and scalable forecasting and planning solutions.

Your Impact

The candidate will have a proven track record of partnership and delivering results and will be passionate about enabling financial processes, modeling, reporting, and analysis through BI technologies.Serve as administrator and expert user of Anaplan and act as primary point of contact for troubleshooting and support to the broader FP&A team.Maintain data integrity across systems to ensure FP&A Anaplan is accurate for actuals, data hierarchies, cost centers, product codes, general ledger accounts, etc.Using source data to provide visualization to the end-user.Understand the FP&A team’s current planning processes and identify and lead areas of improvement and simplification.Develop and support ongoing user training to ensure all functional users understand the application capabilities and leverage system capabilities to deliver the optimal user experience to the Finance team.Ad hoc modeling, analysis, and reporting, as required.Qualifications

Your Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting or related field.Minimum of 3~5 years experience in jobs of increasing responsibility within Finance or Accounting.Experience with financial systems (SAP Analytics Cloud, Hyperion Essbase, Anaplan or similar) highly preferred.Basic understanding of SQL (GCP, Oracle, other relational databases) preferred.Experience in requirements gathering and translating business requirements to technical stories, understanding of unit testing/QA/reconciliation, ability to build and demo proof of concept reports/models.Passion for Data, BI and analytics to drive business value.Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to impart ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.Highly motivated and driven, a self-starter with keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with data and systems governance processes.Superb attention to detail and a strong commitment to data integrity. Ability to manage multiple deliverables and competing priorities.Comfortable working with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Hungry and humble attitude, a personal growth and development mindset, and win as a team mentality.Additional Information

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $95,800/yr to $155,100/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
