Position OverviewAs a member of Autodesk's Executive Search team, you will identify and recruit the most compelling and accomplished executives who bring expertise, innovation, global leadership, and a diversity of thought to all they do. You will develop executive search strategies and lead hiring engagements for Autodesk's most senior positions, across businesses and functions, ensuring outstanding candidate and partner experiences.

You will lead the strategy and execution of executive-level (Director, Senior Director, VP+) searches across the Autodesk organization. Qualified candidates for this role will be well-versed in all aspects of executive search including search/market strategy, honing successful pitches, creative candidate sourcing, developing diverse slates of leadership candidates, candidate generation and development, hiring manager relationship management, referencing and offer negotiations.

You will focus on Autodesk's proactive executive talent engagement practices, including partnering with our executive leadership on strategic talent introductions, talent mapping support for succession planning, and executive events, and will invest in building relationships with talent from underrepresented groups.

You will report to the Sr Director of Executive Search. This position can be based in the U.S. or Canada and can be 100% remote.

Responsibilities

Be a trusted advisor to Autodesk's executive leadership team on executive talent, managing strategic introductions to top external talent alongside searches.

Engage and cultivate relationships with diverse communities of executive talent.

Promote best hiring practices to ensure equitable hiring and building a diverse leadership team at Autodesk.

Possess or quickly develop domain talent knowledge and subject matter expertise, allowing you to advise on relevant talent pools, competitive hiring practices, and location strategies.

Partner with our research team and other resources to identify, engage, evaluate, and recruit diverse pools of executive-level candidates.

Build diverse talent networks and tap knowledgeable industry sources to develop an ongoing pool of candidates and to facilitate strategic talent introductions.

Build relationships with candidates, gaining knowledge of their requirements, priorities, and concerns.

Assess leadership candidates rigorously using a competency framework.

Conduct candidate interviews, leading in pre-interview briefings and post-interview debriefs, performing reference checks, and presenting employment offers on behalf of Autodesk.

Lead client update meetings on active searches, proactively communicating progress against the strategy, presenting candidates and candidate assessments, and providing insights and feedback from the market.

Demonstrate domain expertise and thought partnership to client organizations and business/functions. Lead client meetings, including presenting fully assessed candidate slates, providing candidate in-process updates, and assisting clients with candidate calibration and selection.

Work across the organization with key stakeholders such as Human Resources, Compensation, Legal, and the Business to ensure hiring success as well as a superior candidate and stakeholder experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

10+ years of experience in Executive Recruiting.

Prior experience identifying and engaging executive talent for succession planning and strategic talent introductions.

Experience managing the executive search process.

Experience developing relationships with candidates and hiring managers in a global business environment and a talent-competitive industry.

Experience advising leaders on talent/hiring best practices.

Experience using ATS/CRM recruiting systems and a variety of recruiting resources.

Experience in an ever-changing dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Leverage a data-driven approach to make hiring decisions and to synthesize talent metrics to help drive strategic staffing decisions.

Project management and organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands and stakeholders.

Provide consultative skills throughout the search process.

Experience developing and shaping executive search and hiring best practices to suit an organization and improve talent acquisition efficacy.
