The Area Director of Sales (ADOS) has direct oversight of the sales operation of two hotels. The ADOS has responsibility for the sales and marketing budget, forecasts, advertising, marketing and business plans, as well as the supervision of a Sales Assistant and/or Sales Manager for two properties. Additional responsibilities include accountability for direct sales activities to drive revenues, solicitation and management of key accounts, hiring of staff, training, motivating, managing and coaching for both hotels.
Must have thorough experience/knowledge of professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting and closing. Must possess exceptional negotiating skills and have strong client and community relationship skills. Must be proficient in general computer knowledge and able to train and monitor the process of lead management, sending referrals, bookings, setting traces and profiling accounts. Communication and organizational skills are of utmost importance for this position.

QualificationsCollege degree preferredMinimum of 4 years sales experience with a solid work history and proven track record required, preferably in a hotel capacity.Previous multi-property experience is a plusStrong organization and presentation skillsMust be able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasksMust be outgoing and a proven self-starterWeekends, Evenings and Holidays may be required as business needs warrant
