We are part of Voya Enterprise Data and Analytics Organization, and are in the process of migrating to Azure Cloud from on premise to host our data infrastructure. As part of this journey we intend to build a Cloud based modern data and analytics platform that supports our data strategy.Data/Analytics Platform – Solution Engineering Consultant will be part of a team that will be responsible to build the technology capabilities of the data platform to enable the users of the platform like Data Product teams to build their data products using the platform as quickly as possible, to help business derive value from data.The Contributions You'll Make

Create solution prototypes to demonstrate proof of value, assess implementation complexity.Hands-on solution engineering & enablement – leveraging data/analytics services.Create and manage reference library of reusable assets across the data and analytics stack to accelerate build and deploy of products/initiatives.Research of potential system solutions, including evaluating product and vendor products and services.Help vendors identify the root cause of, and recommend corrective actions in response to, system outages or performance issues. Tracks vendor remediation plans.Often work independently on medium-scale and complexity projects or problem solving exercises.Recommend vendors take corrective action as needed based on an understanding how SLAs are built, monitored, and measured. May provide technical coaching or assistance to a solutions engineer.May lead less complex projects without day to day direction. Will monitor vendor progress across a variety of projects and remediation plans.Collaborate with Supplier(s) and provides direction on change implementation plans.May assist architects/engineers to prepare strategy and roadmap presentations.Analyze daily/weekly/monthly reports that track Supplier(s) adherence to SLA and KPI metrics.Participate in P1/P2/P3 troubleshooting calls as requested. May be involved in approving vendor RCAs.Be available for on-call rotation.Works collaboratively with all IT functions.Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

Deep subject matter expertise in several data/analytics stacks.Architecture Compliance execution.Requires expertise in cloud data/analytics solutions and capabilities with focus on data and analytics services (data lakes, analytical platforms, data pipelines using code first and no/low code solutions), data warehouse/data lake house concepts, AI/ML and business intelligence platforms with 3-5 years of experience.Experience with Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Azure services (functions, logic apps, service bus, event grid, event hub, azure monitor), Snowflake, Databricks, ETL/ETL solutions, such as Talend/Snaplogic/Informatica.Customer-focused and solutions-oriented mindset.Strong interpersonal and partnership skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.Strong time management skills - able to prioritize, organize and plan work effectively.Change Management, Release Management, Incident Management & Problem Management.Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering and/or 5 or more years of professional IT work experience. May have an advanced degree.Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the data and analytics, with demonstrable work experience in related stacks.Multiple industry certifications preferred.Compensation Pay Disclosure:Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives.Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.$91,660 - $144,230 USDWhat We Offer
