Medical Technologist - Blood Bank - New Transfusion Services Technologist Opening at an award winning hospital in North Carolina. This hospital is known for its outstanding care and groundbreaking research. This facility is ranked nationally in multiple adult and pediatric specialties. In addition, this hospital is known for its commitment to conducting both basic and innovative clinical research. Also, this facility offers comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic facilities, including a regional emergency/trauma center; a major surgery suite; an endosurgery center; an Ambulatory Surgery Center with multiple operating rooms and an extensive diagnostic and interventional radiology area.
This hospital is looking to hire a permanent and full time technologist on either second or third shift! For consideration, applicants must have a B.S. degree in Medical Technology as well as a MT or MLS ASCP Certification (or equivalent). Ideally, applicants will have experience in either a high-volume, complex, hospital blood bank OR experience within a blood bank or reference laboratory. SBB or BB Certification is highly desirable.
