We are currently seeking a reputable Financial Analyst for one of our multi-faceted client locations. The successful candidate should possess savvy business skills, be a highly motivated professional, with proven ability to establish excellent working relationships with various team members. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Key Responsibilities:

Partner with Client, Compass Group senior operations, site operations controllers and financial management teams to solve operational and financial challenges and champion business initiatives for profit and strategy improvement and alignment.Preparation and analysis of period end financial reports for management team - provide explanations for variances to budget and forecasts, identify trends and KPIs.Participate and closely assist in the preparation of national quarterly business reviews.At quarterly business reviews, be prepared to present an analysis of the financial performance and future plans for the account, as well as each office location.Understand the functions and responsibilities of the operations controller role.Perform weekly close and monthly close review for sites managed.Assist management teams with special projects, forecasting and budgeting processes to advance accuracy and financial accountability.Oversee the financial activity of each line of Compass business that supports our client including daily and weekly review of spend against Purchase Orders.Monitor financial transfers between Compass Group lines of business.Confirm accuracy and timeliness of invoicing across all account locations.Participate in review of contract and contract changes to assess commercial implications and ensure contracts are understood and enforced.Assist with new business and acquisition opportunities and financial accounting strategy development in partnership with Compass Group teams worldwide.Provide leadership within Compass finance and accounting departments and work with other departments to identify workflow improvements and best practices to improve the accuracy and timelines of financial reporting.Provide financial analysis across multiple accounts, lines of business and Compass divisions primarily in the US.Reports to the National Sr. Financial Analyst.Qualifications

B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance is required.3+ years demonstrating increasing responsibilities to a senior financial management role.Assisting Finance Team site teams with financial analysis of accounts in the U.S.Perform reconciliation and analysis for several balance sheet accounts.Analyze financial results for both internal and external use.Track and maintain monthly P/L and balance sheet activity, cost vs. budget.Aid in Developing forecasts and budgets, identifying risks and opportunities.Review of general ledger and balance sheet.Resolving various accounting/reconciliation issues.Financial reports: monthly, quarterly and annual reports, including but not limited to monthly and fiscal close, internal and external audit reporting, report preparation and distribution.Assist in the preparation and presentation of business reviews for multiple lines of business.Performs related duties and special projects as assigned, working independently.Strong computer system and software skills - proficient with MS Office and financial reporting systems.Ability to plan, prioritize and work under pressure to achieve ongoing time deadlines in dynamic, fast paced work environment.Apply to Bon Appetit today!Bon Appetit is a member of Compass Group USA.Associates at Bon Appetit are offered many fantastic benefits.
