Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell seeks a highly motivated and experienced professional to serve as the Recruitment & Retention Manager in the Human Resources Division. The Recruitment & Retention Manager is responsible for leading the recruitment and retention efforts for a wide range of positions and building and sustaining a pipeline of talent in the AGO. This dynamic individual will work closely with hiring managers, the Chief of Organizational Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, and Director of Human Resources to design and implement cutting-edge inclusive recruitment processes that deliver exceptional results.

The selected candidate will collaborate with hiring managers to drive strategies that cater to the unique requirements of various roles by drafting compelling job postings and screening job applications to source highly skilled professionals. Additionally, the Hiring & Retention Manager will support a wide range of activities, such as representing the AGO in local colleges and universities, law schools, and leading hiring events in the communities that we serve. The incumbent will be responsible for assembling recruitment and retention data to improve current systems and bringing in fresh new ideas for process improvement, as well as creative ways to attract talent. Our applicant must be a relationship builder with an ability to strengthen the AGO's current talent acquisition strategy.

Primary Duties:Duties for the Recruitment & Retention Manager include but are not limited to:

Assists hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, including drafting and revising job postings;Works with hiring managers to meet established recruiting goals and objectives;Reviews resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements;Creates and fosters relationships with colleges and universities, law schools, and professional associations to promote employment opportunities and attract and recruit qualified candidates;Participates and engages in career fairs, workshops, and community and hiring events to source qualified candidates;Works closely with the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Team to ensure policy compliance in recruitment and hiring activities to help minimize bias in hiring decisions and attract a talented, diverse, and inclusive workforce;Responsible for metrics reporting and developing retention initiatives.

Full-Time/ExemptSalary:

$80,000 to $84,000, based on experience

Job Qualifications:Position Requirements:Bachelor's degree (preferred);Minimum of four to six years of relevant full cycle recruitment/talent acquisition experience;Experience with compiling, analyzing, summarizing, and manipulating data with demonstrated practice in database management use to track statistics to inform process improvements;Sound understanding of recruitment processes and an aptitude for creating efficiencies;Demonstrated skills in the ability to collaborate effectively with peers and other agencies;Highly organized individual with the ability to prioritize and manage several ongoing tasks with a strong attention to detail;Interpersonal and communication skills, including oral presentation skills;Strong written communication skills;Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, and HRIS and/or Applicant Tracking systems;Candidates must be professional with the ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team environment;The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a connection to the people and communities we serve and an interest in supporting a respectful, diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment;Must possess a valid Massachusetts driver's license, as travel across the State is required.
