is looking for a

Business Analyst

to manage cross-functional collaboration, optimize processes, build out detailed business requirements, conduct detailed analyses, and build out on-demand dashboards to drive business efficiency in operations, supply chain management, project prioritization/velocity. As a rapidly growing Series A startup, our business is constantly evolving – you will be at the center of harvesting insights, diagnosing trends, proactively detecting inefficiencies, and developing solutions to raise awareness and address business needs.Responsibilities:Data Analysis and Reporting: Identify outstanding analytic and reporting needs of stakeholders. Address these needs by conducting ad hoc analysis and developing subject matter expertise. Where appropriate develop self-service dashboards to support ongoing monitoring by yourself and stakeholders.Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across departments, including operations, finance, marketing, and product to develop requirements and documentation for processes, reporting/analytics, and business models.Business Requirement Development: Develop business requirement documentation including: goals/objectives, list of stakeholders, current state, scope, methodologies, estimated impact, vendor analysis (where appropriate), and detailed requirements. Documentation should include quantitative estimates of project impact/value to elucidate cost-benefit. You will serve as the primary author of this documentation and will be responsible for its ongoing maintenance.Data Collaboration: As a primary user of our data, you will collaborate with data engineering to understand data availability and to make requests for data based on reporting and model needs. You will participate in data QA to ensure data completeness and accuracy prior to use.Performance Monitoring: Continually monitor business and operational metrics. Report out trends to pertinent stakeholders on a regular cadence. Proactively detect trends and patterns warranting deeper investigation and execute on necessary troubleshooting so that solutions can be offered to stakeholders.The ideal candidate will have the following:Experience:BA/BS in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.2-5 years of experience in an analytics-related role: Business Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, Operations Analyst, Consultant, etc.Strong understanding of key business metrics including LTV, CAC, payback period, conversion rates, A/B testing. Demonstrated ability to update metrics and models based on changes in business.Experience inclusive of interfacing directly with stakeholders across operations, finance, marketing, product, and engineering.High level of proficiency with SQL or other relational database query languages.Mastery of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.Proficient in LookerStudio, Tableau, Power BI, or other BI/dashboarding software.Qualities:High Conscientiousness: Highly effective, organized, dutiful, self-disciplined, and careful.High Horsepower & Humility: High intellectual and physical energy.
