Technical Tax:Perform technical tax review of assigned tax returns of varying complexityResearch complex tax issuesIdentify issues and recommend creative solutions to complex client issuesPrepare complex business returnsDelegate and manage tax and research assignments to achieve accurate and efficient productSchedule smooth system flow of tax returnsAdministrative:Perform administrative duties relative to position, including billingStaff Development:Direct StaffMaintain familiarity with staff’s qualifications, review assignments for appropriatenessProvide effective performance feedback and on-the-job trainingInstruct and facilitate both internal and external trainingBusiness Development:Pursue opportunities to provide additional services; pursue leadsClient Management:Develop and sustain excellent client relationshipsRecruitment of new and experienced staffWHAT YOU’LL NEED

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; Master's degree in Tax preferred5+ years recent accounting firm experience including managing multiple tax accounting projects and client engagements, directing and scheduling staff and managing workflow. Additional industry experience a plus.Significant experience working with all types of entity taxesCPA certificationAbility to multitaskThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
