Data Engineer

Job DescriptionTransformco is building the future of Home Services. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers our organization's data-driven decision-making processes. You will work closely with data scientists, researchers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our data is accessible, reliable, and scalable.Responsibilities/Skills/Experience RequirementsKey Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, process, and transform data from various sources.Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure data availability and quality.Optimize and tune database systems for performance and scalability.Build and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage solutions, including data dictionaries, data lineages, and managing data governance for the company.Implement data security and privacy measures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and resolve data quality issues.Work with cross-functional teams to collect and understand business data.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology).Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.Strong scripting skills in languages like SQL, Python, or Scala.Proficiency in database technologies such as Snowflake or DataBricks.Experience with data integration tools and ETL processes.Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Attention to detail and a focus on data quality.Years Experience:
