The team in which this position is open is embarking on designing a state-of-the-art network automation provisioning system for Swift’s customer connectivity evolution. This connectivity evolution will be provided as a service on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platforms for Swift’s customers. Report to the Network Automation Development team manager, participate in architecture discussions, and design the new provisioning automation solution. Implement the approved design adopting the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment/Continuous Testing process.
Work closely with the Architecture team to design the solutionInteract with members of the team which provides Continuous Integration / Continuous deployment frameworkLearn Swift’s environment from seniors in the teamBecome familiar with the qualification and production environment to provide supportOpportunity to learn Software Defined Wide Area Network architectureWhat will make you successful?
We are seeking professionals with:Bachelor’s degreePractical hands-on Java development experienceExperience developing APIs using the Spring Boot framework2-5 years experience in the above areasGood debugging skills on problems faced during development and testingExposure to common Linux command line tools and utilitiesPreferred qualifications:
Exposure to Networking technologies is a plusDevelopment of YAML playbooks using AnsibleTechnical knowledge of the Linux Operating System is a plusExposure to non-relational Database architectureThe estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Virginia is $74,830 MINIMUM to $138,970 MAXIMUM USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Our compensation packages include a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity for all employees contingent on personal and company performance.
