Position & Department OverviewFull Time, 40 hours per weekDay Shift37 bed unit to include a dedicated 5-bed Behavioral Health Safe Suite located within the department.More than 53K visits per year (approximately 150 patients/day)About this role:You will demonstrate advanced and specialized clinical knowledge and skills to facilitate the provision of patient/family-focused care to promote health and/or well-being improve quality of life; drive practice changes throughout the organization and ensure use of evidence-based care to improve patient outcomes.You will be providing expertise and support, either directly or indirectly, by influencing patients/families, nurses/nursing practice, and organization/systems through direct care, leadership, coaching, research, ethical decision making, collaboration, and consultation.Minimum RequirementsEducation: RN Master's Level Degree (6 year)Nursing Experience: Two (2) yearsCEN Certification (Certified Emergency Nurse) required.Virginia Clinical Nurse Specialist License in good standing.Virginia or Compact/Multistate RN in good stand required.BLS through AHAACLSPALSABOUT SOHSentara Obici Hospital nurses are committed to providing evidence-based practice in their delivery of quality healthcare to our patients and families.
