What You’ll Be Responsible For:Identify opportunities and run the investment process, including initial contact, commercial due diligence, presenting to the investment committee and working with the legal team on legal due diligence and deal documentationStaying current on key trends in crypto and fintech across multiple markets worldwide, as well as anticipate new trendsManage, grow, and maintain a deep network of relationships with top VCs, founders and other industry players to stay at the cutting edge of fintech and cryptoTesting, measuring and iterating on alternative investment sourcing channelsWork with post-investment platform team to ensure value-add to portfolioBuild the relevant platforms to include PR initiatives and raising our profile at eventsOver time, build out and manage the regional Latin America team with relevant hiresWhat You’ll Bring:Bachelor’s degree (finance, business or related field), advanced degree preferred6 – 10 years of relevant experience in early-stage investing, fintech or cryptoPassionate about fintech and demonstrated experience investing in early stage fintechStrong interest in crypto and knowledge of crypto fundamentalsVery entrepreneurial mindset and openness to investing beyond standard VC constraintsStrong network in the Latin American early-stage communityExperience working with founders (have been one before or worked with them)Experience in early stage investing, including in fintech and crypto companiesWorks hard, ambitious with low ego, and fun to work withQualifications:Proficiency in Solidity and experience with Ethereum-based developmentDeep knowledge of blockchain technology, decentralized applications, and smart contract developmentFamiliarity with blockchain development tools and librariesSolid understanding of blockchain security principles and best practicesStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent teamwork and communication skillsKnowledge and experience with Javascript and Node.jsKnowledge of other blockchain platforms (e.g., Coinbase, Binance Smart Chain, Polkadot, etc.)Responsibilities:As a Blockchain Developer at TransTechnology, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining blockchain applications and smart contracts using SolidityYou will work closely with our team of developers, architects, and product managers to create and enhance decentralized cryptocurrency trading applicationsSolidity Development: Write, test, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts using Solidity, ensuring they meet business requirements and industry best practicesBlockchain Integration: Integrate blockchain technology into existing systems, including web applications and other relevant platformsSecurity: Perform code reviews to identify vulnerabilities and implement solutions to protect against security threatsResearch and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technology and suggest improvements and innovative solutions to enhance our productsCollaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop blockchain solutions that address real-world problems
