Cultivating new business opportunitiesAssessing customer eligibilityOverseeing the customer journey from beginning to endDevelop new business by networking with realtors, builders, current customers, and centers of influence to generate residential mortgage applicationsOriginate loans; assist borrowers with applicationsProvide consultations and education on mortgage transactions, teaching about what to expect, setting the timelines and expectationsQualify borrowers; pull credit; run AUS; price loansWork with our processor(s) to collect documentation; follow-through with client, processor, and lender until closingOwn the client experience to ensure customer expectations are exceeded and our clients are delightedDevelop and maintain a personal business planQualifications:
Must have or be willing to get an active NMLS Mortgage Originator License in Virginia, DC, and Maryland1+ year of recent experience in Mortgage Loan Origination or in a sales positionCurrent and active rolling pipeline of funding two loans per month requiredExperienced in working with first time home buyersEffective sales and marketing skills, including the ability to generate new business through networking and referral partners and other referral sourcesAbility to deal honestly and ethically with clients, employees, and business partners to achieve desired goalsStrong understanding of loan guidelines, as well as all federal and state regulationsProblem Solving; Demonstrate ability to effectively analyze and resolve problems at a functional level
