Duties and Responsibilities:Designs, codes, and tests software modifications to address enhancement requestsCoordinates and participates in system, integration, performance, and acceptance testingMaintains shared responsibility for updating configuration documentation and related configuration management tools to track application changesInteracts with clients and users as required during daily activitiesWork as part of a team throughout the software development life cycleCollaborate with designers and analysts to implement enhancements or new applicationsDevelop code to meet user story acceptance criteriaCreates test transactions and runs unit testsDebug, test, and fix errorsConduct design and code reviews to ensure compliance with standardsMaintain records to document program development and revisionsProvide evening and weekend support for outages and deployments
Qualifications:Education and Years of Experience:Bachelor's Degree in related field5+ years' experience in application development using Java/JEE and related technologies (JBoss, Spring Framework, WebLogic)4+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript4+ years of experience developing REST, SOAP, and JSON/XML3+ years of experience with JUnit, Ant and/or Maven, Subversion and/or Git2+ years of experience with Angular and NodeJSExperience with code repositories (Subversion and/or Git)Experience working in a cloud environment (preferably AWS)Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum developmentAbility to independently investigate, troubleshoot, design, and develop solutionsSolid written and oral communication skills to interact with business and technology teams
