Graduation from accredited school of RadiologyCurrent RT License in State of IllinoisCurrent ARRT RegistryBasic Cardiac Life support (BCLS) requiredTypically requires 1+ years of Interventional (IR) or procedural experience (Cath Lab, OR, IR)New Grads welcome to applyImpact Patient Care:

You will provide crucial technical support to physicians and ensure the care of patients, collaborating seamlessly with other healthcare professionals throughout all phases of cardiac catheterization, including diagnostic, interventional, and electrophysiology procedures.As you continue to develop your career with us, you will have the opportunity to serve as a preceptor and a valuable resource for orientation and the integration of new interventional devices. Procedural Support:

Provides competent, proficient, technical support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, implementing procedural standards and protocols.Patient Centered Care:

Provides patient care specific to procedural requirements and patient needs (under the supervision of physicians and Cath Lab nursing personnel).Patient/Family Member Education:

Provides support and education to patients, families, and other healthcare team members.Safety:

Maintains a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.Customer Service:

Demonstrates the ability to interact and cooperate with all customers.Professional Growth and Accountability:

Maintains professional growth, self-development objectives, and skill enhancement.Where You'll Work:

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital is a leading health care provider in Chicago's North and Northwest suburbs, offering a Level I Trauma Center, access to national clinical trials and advanced medical treatment in cardiology, cancer, neurosciences, orthopedics, and women's health.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Ability to work staggered 8-10 hour shifts and be on call.Capability to work effectively under stressful and challenging situations.Exposure to blood and body fluids may occur.Exposure to radiation as part of the job.Proficiency in assisting patients during transfers.Capable of performing lifting, pulling, and pushing activities related to patient positioning, transfer, and stocking of supplies.Physical Strength and Lifting Requirements:

Able to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted.For patient lifts exceeding 35 pounds, patient handling equipment is expected to be used.Individual patient lifting and movement scenarios will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
