Under the supervision of senior clinical staff, the incumbent will provide direct clinical services, including intakes, individual and group psychotherapy, assertive outreach, and clinical case management, using evidence-based practices that are effective for the service population. Incumbent will also provide crisis intervention and emotional support to acute sexual assault survivors in the ZSFG Emergency Dept. This position will work closely with other San Francisco agencies supporting AAPI communities, conducting community engagement and outreach about TRC services.Required QualificationsCSW I: Master's degree from an accredited school of social work or related field and knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position or equivalent education/experience and registered with the Board of Behavioral Science as An Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) or Associate Marriage Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors (APCCs) or equivalent combination of experience/training.CSW II: In addition to the above, possession of the requirements necessary for application for licensure as a clinical social worker as determined by the California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners.Bilingual in English and Cantonese.The Clinical Social Worker I/II must be able to provide integrated trauma-informed care that includes psychotherapy and clinical case management.The Clinical Social Worker I/II must demonstrate cultural humility and a strengths-based, recovery-oriented approach to clinical care.The Clinical Social Worker I/II must be able to engage with and provide emotional support to acute sexual assault victims in the SFGH Emergency Department.Excellent organizational and strong interpersonal skills.Demonstrated excellent attendance and reliability.Experience working with populations that are diverse in gender, sexual orientation, language, country of origin, race, and ethnicity.Experience working with survivors of trauma.Sensitivity in working with survivors of trauma who have complex psychosocial needs.Excellent documentation and clinical skills, ability to set priorities, work independently, excellent follow-up, work well under pressure and deadlines.Preferred QualificationsExperience doing case management, outreach, and home visits.About UCSFThe University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is a leading university dedicated to promoting health worldwide through advanced biomedical research, graduate-level education in the life sciences and health professions, and excellence in patient care.
