The Role

Market Experts (Seller Agent) at Sundae seek out and engage with prospective home sellers locally. This is an opportunity to work with a fast-paced team that values empathy, authenticity, and creativity while experiencing significant personal and professional growth.

As a Market Expert, you are a homeowner’s point of contact to evaluate their needs and assess whether or not the Sundae marketplace is a good fit for their situation. Sundae is seeking a candidate that has the ability to empathize with homeowners who may be in a time of need and help to guide them through the home selling process.

This is a locally remote role.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate neighborhoods and properties to uncover potential new leads in the field

Generate opportunities to partner with local real estate agents through networking events

Attend appointments with potential customers at their homes

Generate referrals from happy customers you helped

Work directly with management to package learnings from customer interaction into actionable feature expansion and new product development

Meet and exceed assigned revenue goals

This role is expected to be available when our customers need us most, including evenings and weekends. Your manager will work with you to help you maintain a work-life balance.

Skills and Personal Qualities

Proven track record of self-generating leads and building local partnerships

Strong relationship-building skills, build rapport quickly and authentically

Ability to speak knowledgeably about real estate conditions and process

Meticulous sales pipeline management

Experience using Salesforce or a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool

Effective time management and task prioritization

Comfortable in unstructured environments

Qualifications

2 + consecutive years as a Real Estate agent

1 + years experience in Outside Sales

Current valid real estate license in California (required)

Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred but not required)

Valid driver's license and ability to clear background/driving record check (required)

Compensation & Benefits

200k+ ($20k base + up to $80-200k commission) annually
